| Many people have asked why we use glass containers instead of plastic tubes. It was a simple decision for us. Oils and plastics don’t mix. You would never purchase high-quality olive oils in plastic bottles, because they just aren’t packaged that way. Plastic leeches out into the oils and helps speed up rancidity.
We are making Balms with some of the most expensive ingredients on the market. Even though plastic is more practical, it made no sense to offer superior ingredients in an inferior container. |
