Our Balms are food for your lips! And that’s exactly what they are…..we buy real organic, unrefined high quality ingredients and turn them into the best lip balm ever.
When foods are devitalized by processing they may look and smell real but the healing “life force” has been severely compromised. Of course this creates a very stable product with a very long shelf life, but there is a trade-off in quality. The shelf life of our LIP SOLUTION is approximately 18 months.
We achieve this by choosing oils that are naturally more stable at room temperature and use Vitamin E as our main preservative. To achieve the freshest and strongest anti-oxidative power, we skip all 3rd party suppliers and buy from the vitamin E producers. Vitamin E also begins to deteriorate over time so to insure the ultimate freshness of our products we searched for the best.
To counter our Balms' shorter life span, all our oils are kept in cold storage and we make all our Balms to order. We retain ultimate quality control by producing small batches. We are one of the few companies to actually make our Balms rather than seek out a contract packager or co-packer to make them for us. Our manufacturing process limits our production capabilities but never our product qualities! |
